 ABOUT LATOYA
I am a 25 year old Bridgeport CT native. I work for Bridgeport Radiology as a Customer Service Rep. I love to watch sports and my favorite team in the UConn Huskies (both the men and women). I am an avid internet surfer. I graduated from Virgina Union University with a BA in Criminal Justice. Some day I plan to pursue my Law Degree.
ABOUT BENJAMIN
I am a 25 year old Brooklyn NY native. I currently work for Martin Geller CPA PC, as a Fixed Asset Accountant. I am also the business manager for a cyber lounge in Jersey City NJ. I am also a poet and love to write songs and poems for LaToya. I graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana with a BS in accounting. I plan to pursue my Masters in Business and Information Technology.
HOW WE MET
We met through a mutual friend named Kezia Jackson. We would like to thank Kezia for helping us to meet on October 1,1993. If it had not been that phone call we may have never met. Ben---I was on at home in New Orleans on a Friday night just hanging with the fellas, when the phone rings. It's for me. It is Kezia... We Kezia and I are remebering our senior year I hear someone giggle on the phone,(Yes it was Toya). And I ask who else was on the phone. She introduced herself,and then we exchanged numbers. (to tell the truth I fell in love with her voice.) Then, that night we spent the time talking for a couple hours that night. And now after a couple Thosand Dollar phone bills we are gonna get together.
 WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED January 1, 2001 HOW IT HAPPENED It happened New Years Eve with 20 seconds left to go to the New Year. We were in her Parents bedroom ready to tell everyone Happy New Year. When we entered the room, LaToya had to glass a wine and set them down on the dresser. While she was doing that her back was to me and I was down on one knee watching the clock tick away. I then turned her around and asked her to marry me. The look on her face was suprise, (she was crying). Then I asked her to marry me again, and she looked at her monther, and her brother was running aorund the room wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Everyone was suprised and she finally said yes after two mins of shock.
